1. Pittsburgh wants him as a receiver but Maryland wants him on defense.
2. Scout has him listed as a 4 Star as the #1 receiver in PA! Whereas Rivals has him as a 3 Star!

Matthews and Ruben Flowers WR class would be very strong. Flowers has been tearing it up this year vs a good Ohio schedule. He went for 12 catches and 181 yds last night. It wouldn't surprise me if OSU and some of the big time programs start making a push at him. He's having a big year to date. Probably up over 500 yds receiving through 4 games.

I wouldn't be opposed to us additionally adding Juwan Winfree, if things work out there, as we need some guys with #1 wr potential for next year. Right now I think we have a ton of #3 types.

I'd be pretty confident out of those 3, that 1 or 2 would become #1-2 type wideouts. Then I'd be totally comfortable with Henderson, Zeise, challinsgworth, etc. as your #3-4.

It's pretty evident we are lacking difference makers beyond Boyd. And he's 99% gone after this year if I had to guess.

Also, let's hope adding Matthews helps us with Wade. It's exciting to think of a potential Hamlin, Wade, Ford, Whitehead secondary in couple years. That's OSU, Bama, etc. level secondary talent. Plus Maddox will still be around too.

I would imagine offense! From what I remember... he worked out at receiver at the camps he attended over the summer.

Gotta be able to beat out Marlyand for a good local kid we want. That program sucks, and we need another WR.

Stranger things have happened in recruiting but I don't see any way he ends up at Maryland.
