Looks like Steel Curtain was not wrong to bring up Max Browne Topic last week as ESPN brought up ACC QBs for 2017 season. Great to read below about Pitt Potential again at QB.

Now the Good News, ACC Best QBs are at ULou, FSU, and Clemson and Pitt does not play. The Bad News.....QBs that Pitt is going up against for 2017, is Syracuse Eric Dungey, Tommy DeVito, Rex Culpepper and experienced backup Zack Mahoney, you remember them from last year and the Pitt a Great Historic Game Win Highest in NCAA history.Babers will have Cuse improved again, he is doing what Narduzzi is doing, selecting specific recruits to fill his needs at key position. This is going to be another Tough Game.

Add Duke's Jones that Pat Narduzzi said will be a threat all the next few years. NC State Ryan Finley is back ready to play lights out again. Miami comes in too, Backup Malik Rosier, Jack Allison, Vincent Testaverde Jr. and Evan Shirreffs, Freshmen N'Kosi Perry and Cade Weldon all Top Recruits again. Thrown OKST Mayfield and Penn State McSorley and Pitt is going up some great QBs again.

Pitt Defense has to be ready to stop these Top QBs this year.

Excerpt:

Potential sleeper 3: Pitt. The Panthers have relied on their fair share of graduate transfers, and this season could be no exception with USC transfer Max Browne set to compete in spring practice. New offensive coordinator Shawn Watson has made his name developing quarterbacks, and Browne showed tons of potential as a former ESPN 300 recruit. With depth at running back and what should be a better defense, Pitt could make a Coastal run if it can get the most out of its next quarterback.

If you look at a lot of the draft projections, the ACC/ND has three potential first round QB's this year. The QB talent is above average and it just reloads.

RANK PLAYER SCHOOL MEASURABLES
1 Deshaun Watson Clemson 6' 3", 215 lbs.
2 DeShone Kizer Notre Dame 6' 4 1/2", 230 lbs.

3 Patrick Mahomes Texas Tech 6' 3", 215 lbs.
4 Mitch Trubisky North Carolina 6' 3", 220 lbs.
5 Brad Kaaya Miami 6' 4", 215 lbs.

6 Davis Webb Cal 6' 5", 230 lbs.
7 Chad Kelly Ole Miss 6' 2", 224 lbs.
8 Alek Torgersen Penn 6' 3", 230 lbs.
9 Nate Peterman Pittsburgh 6' 2", 225 lbs.
10 Jerod Evans Virginia Tech 6' 4", 230 lbs.

ND is not an ACC football program so you can't count them. As far as reloading goes, the QB talent in the ACC this season won't even be close to what it was last season,

Clemson will suffer the biggest drop off, Watson was a once in a generation player.

-Ill predict Pitt's defense jumps at least 50 places next year in total defense, in points against, and in pass defense, for 4 reasons.

1) Jordan Whitehead missed 4 games last year, Hamlin missed 10, and Paris Ford is now on the team. That's a 180 turnaround with all 3 healthy and the other db's all having 1 year under their belt

2) North Carolina and Virginia Tech lost everything off their offense. And we dont play Clemson. Miami lost most of their big guns on offense too.

3) We get Hendrix and Zeise back who both missed the entire season.

4) Although young, we are we way faster and athletic going into next year on defense and I posted the 40 times to support it. Penn State and Oklahoma State will light our defense up, but it should stop after that and we should at least contain the rest on our schedule.

I like reading all Posters Views and Predictions and why put up Links for others to Think and Share.

Hamlin will be Healthy too, plus more Younger and Tougher Redshirt Recruits ready to contribute. Whitehead is com0peltely Healed and just focused on being better at Football, I am told. He did not go to the Central Valley FB Banquet this year.

2) North Carolina and Virginia Tech lost everything off their offense. And we dont play Clemson. Miami lost most of their big guns on offense too.
I hear you but they got Great Coaches who will Coach up Replacements and still beat last year. I have to see it some Wins to believe it. Good we play them later.

3) We get Hendrix and Zeise back who both missed the entire season.
I really think Pitt has Two Sleepers too, in DT Taleni and Kam Carter that will Pitt Staffers have 7 months to prepare and i want to see the New DL coach ASAP. Just a Hunch! I like being corrected and last year Hugh Green and Others corrected me on Pitt's DL needing to be better to help out the secondary, and Narduzzi said it too.

4) Although young, we are we way faster and athletic going into next year on defense and I posted the 40 times to support it.
They are bigger too, and faster, and prepare in Film Rooms stay out trouble, and if Pitt Defense just had One More Stop against UNC, VT, or OKST they would have been wins.

Penn State and Oklahoma State will light our defense up, but it should stop after that and we should at least contain the rest on our schedule.
So, are you predicting big losses against PSU & OKST? I don't know until I see OC Watson, mesh with QBs Browne, Big Mac, and Dunucci and find a TE as good as Orndoff? i do agree PSU & OKST should be favorites. McSorely & Mayfield are back and will be terrific unless Pitt can sack them?

I kind of disagree. You have the returning Heisman winner and good second year starters at FSU, Virginia, NC State and Duke. Clemson is also trying to decide which four or five star QB they should play.

-No, both games will be high scoring and neither defense will stop the other team.
