Seems Clemson caught a schedule break- the collective records of their conference schedule is 18 games under .500

Makes me feel a lot better about our tournament hopes

This pitt team is good. I think it has enough talent to be in the dance. It sucks that we had both duke and Clemson on the ropes and lost both, but if we take care of business, things are looking up

We all said before the season that @ NC State, @ Syr, UNC, UVa was a brutal way to start. We thought we could have a good team but start 0-4 and be done before we started.

Yep avoid the real bad losses such as to Louisville and get a few more quality wins along the way and this team will be in the tournament come March. It’s gonna be a fun last 6 weeks of the season leading up to the ACC Tourney in early March keeping track of updated bracketology and following this team and their chances of making the tournament. It’s been a long time since us as Pitt fans have been able to do this and it feels damn good to be able to do it yet again.

My concern is our depth and the impact that a Mike Cooke type injury could cause if someone went down. We are much better than we have been in past years but are vulnerable. Hopefully the players are taking care of themselves and the trainers are working hard at keeping them strong.

We've already had two season ending injuries and a felony arrest to affect our season negatively. I know it could get worse, but I dont want to think about it.

Dream case 11-2
@UL W
FSU W
Wake Close home W
UM/@UNC split
UL win
@FSU W
BC W
@VT W
Cuse Close home W
@ND W
@Miami L

But realistically I’d gladly take 9-4 with at least 4 road wins, which the committee also values. They would finish 8-4 on the road and 8-6 with combined neutral sites.
