Received my tickets through Pitt yesterday via UPS. Pleased on the location, maybe the best ever for Pitt fans in a men's basketball tournament since I started attending in 1983. Obviously wish I was expecting Pitt to play more than one game--with these great seats. However, the real point of my post was that oddly, my package did not include my tickets to the Tuesday games for the ACC Tournament. For the life of me, I cannot understand why Pitt did not mail both the regular tournament tickets along with the Tuesday Session tickets? Seems very wasteful. Hail to Pitt!

I'm fairly confident it's impossible for Pitt to play on Tuesday.
Even if we lose out, and FSU wins out..we have the tie-breaker to stay out of the Tuesday games.

That may luckily be so, but I purchased tickets for the Tuesday games. Since Pitt joined the Big East in 1983, I have attended the entire tournament--and watched all the games. I enjoy college basketball and have always enjoyed the conference tournament. Be sure, the ACC version is far inferior for the fan attending--but nonetheless, not sure why Pitt would send out two UPS packages, when one would have been sufficient. Hail to Pitt!

It's wasteful environmentally but Pitt likely has a contract with UPS so I doubt there's any impact financially for Pitt - if that's part of your concern.

Tuesday games are not included for any of the schools as far as I know. Tuesday must be purchased separately, I believe it is stated as such on the ticket request form.

Ticketmaster is your source for Tuesday tix according to my confirmation letter

Yes, this is smart because literally nobody makes a decision on whether to buy ACCT tickets on whether or not the Tuesday games are included and certainly nobody is traveling from out of town and getting there on a Monday night/Tuesday morning so they can watch the bottom 4/bottom 6 teams. These games would add so little value to the package that the ACC decided to sell them separately, offering relatively cheap general admission seating, hoping some locals will buu tickets.

What I think is stupid is how they have done an early afternoon Tuesday game. Why? 4:30, 7, and 9:30 in 1 session makes the most sense. Maybe more people would buy them if they can attend all 3 games and not have to miss work.

I believe only two games Tuesday as of current standings FSU BC NCST and WF would play

Pittlaw - a family member got their tickets too. I'm confused on the seat locations. I swear I read school placement for the ACCT was based on previous year tournament results? Clearly that's not the case for Pitt this year.

I also requested Tuesday tickets in early January and followed up with a February email to confirm they would be coming from Pitt. Both times Pitt said Yes. Now just this past week I was informed I needed to purchase Tuesday tickets on my own via Ticketmaster. So I just did that.

It seems there was some type of mixup and Pitt won't be including Tuesday's tix like they did last year.

I'm not positive but I believe (at least in the past) the ACC rotates team locations from year to year. How fairly I cannot say.

Seating wise FSU,ND & Cuse are the winners along w/Pitt this year. Hmmm

I believe they rotate locations with the exception of the defending champ, who gets prime seats.

Not only is it wasteful from an environmental viewpoint, it is completely inefficient for the fan receiving the package [as well as the people working in the Ticket Office]. I have six tickets for the tournament, of which a couple are being used by a friend that lives out of state. Coordinating the tickets has been made even more difficult by this silly protocol. Hail to Pitt!
