Of the 13 other visitors, 4 committed. Only one, Allen Bryant, has gone public. Who are the other 3 commits?
Analysis: Of the remaining 12 visitors, the Lair has published stories about the reactions of Jackson, Kirks, Williams, Riggs, Rudolph, Powers and Lindsey. None said they committed.
If they are to be believed that means the 3 commits came from the 5 other visitors. But, according to the Lair, Marsh hasn’t said anything about his visit. That might mean 3 of the other 4 are the verbals.
3 from Holmes, Lafontant, Prichard and the mysterious Unknown Visitor.
The Narduzzi emojis seemed to indicate that two commits were DBs. Bryant is one. Pritchard is the only other DB who visited.
Two of the emojis indicated linemen and Partridge’s Road Grader tweet would indicate an OL. Lafontant and Holmes are OL. Both are considered prime suspects to have committed. However, Jim hinted that the Unknown Visitor might have committed. Is he an OL?
Lafontant seems to be the most likely to have committed based on his offer sheet. Holmes seems to be the most likely based on the scuttlebutt.
So, I am confident in stating that the 4 commits thus far from the first weekend of June are: Bryant, Pritchard, the Unknown Visitor and either Holmes/Lafontant.
But wait…how likely is it that the Lair would have interviewed 7 of 14 visitors in a weekend where 4 committed and they didn’t interview any of the commits? Seems pretty unlikely to me. Is it possible that the actual commits cleverly hid their verbals from Chris and Jim? Are Chris and Jim that gullible or are they respecting the commits desires to keep their verbals secret for now?
I think the answer is that they have interviewed the other three commits, who have expressed a desire to keep their verbals silent, and out of respect have not written their official visit stories yet. They will publish them when the commits are made public.
Therefore, according to deductive reasoning using my fifth grade math — which is far as I got in school in that subject — the first 4 commits from this group of visitors are Bryant, Pritchard, Holmes and the Unknown Visitor.
