- The UNLV rumor. Not going to happen. Dixon at UNLV may be the worst fit in college basketball. The boosters there are VERY involved, and they expect you to do whatever it takes. It may not be like it once was, but some of the stories that I have heard can only make you shake your head. Not sure how this rumor started, he's not going to UNLV.
- The market for him is not going to be all that aggressive. It has been a few years now from serious interest from comparable (or "higher" jobs) schools. TCU is going to fire Johnson, so that job will be open. I would imagine they will come after him. Other than that, I can't see any possibility.
- Needless to say, he is not getting fired. That isn't exactly going out on a limb, but I am still amazed at how many rumors I hear from different people.
- Finally, Damon Wilson. I have heard that Damon is upset. Will he end up transferring? I don't know, I think it is too early to say that. Plenty of players have been upset before and stuck around. Some leave. We will see where it shakes out with Damon, but he is not happy. A lot of players were unhappy early on in their careers and ended up having great careers.
- On the assistant front, everything is quiet right now. I can't imagine any news getting out until after the season. There will be at least one change, just not positive on where it will come. A lot of things may look a certain way right now, but nothing will happen until after the final game.
