A lot has been said about the ability of the defensive staff to draw up adjustments either at halftime or on the fly and the ability of the players to execute them.

But less attention has been paid to the fact that the offense does not make adjustments. They do the same thing all game. They run the ball well then get cute and fail. Momentum is killed constantly by bad playcalls or bad execution. On at least half of Pitt's drives this game they've had 2nd or 3rd and longer than 10. I guarantee you Pitt's offense, which unless something happens, will now have scored 3 points in the first half two weeks in a row, will do exactly the same nonsense in the second half as it has done in the first half.

Only going to briefly mention him handing starting QB to Peterman on a platter and he's produced Voytik-like numbers personally and the offense can't score points. He is not an upgrade, period. The offense has stunk 3 games in a row now, as bad as it did the first half of last year. Peterman's just the guy Chaney wanted so he's in there everything else be damned.

Chaney does not have it and Pitt is going to continue to underachieve with him running the offense. The only saving grace of this tub is he has MacVittie in his pocket.
