Did Ohio St put him on ignore, cause they got a top RB. That coach of theirs, has a tendency to find ways to flip kids to other schools, he no longer thinks he needs

OSU Meyer's is just so tough to beat on and off the GridIron, just like BAMA's Saban.....it is only June and both Ranked #1 & #2 with a combine Four 5 Stars and Nineteen 4 Stars Recruits?

I can give credit where credit is due, and at one time, used to witness it at Pitt in the 1970s-80s. It was great back when and up to Coach Pat & Staff, AD Barnes, and Chancellor Gallagher to make it happen again!

It will be interesting to see if Sibley's has a great Senior Year and OSU comes back and makes a Offer, if he Sticks with Pitt or Heads to Columbus?

Just a Hunch, I think he will stick with Pitt even if BuckEYES open up!

Sibley really looks good. At least Ollison like with more speed?

Told him he would have to greyshirt.

Not at the time he committed, they didn't. They waited until long after the fact to dump the greyshirt news on him. Clearly, based on his recent decision, he would have never committed to tOSU in the first place had that condition been in place when he did originally commit.

Yeah, its silly to say he committed early to a greyshirt. I doubt at this stage they even told him now he will greyshirt

Huh?

He committed long ago and they felt they had better options and told him he could have a greyshirt instead of a full initial offer, in order to push him out. It worked and he looked around and picked Pitt. Both schools are happy because Pitt gets a good athlete it otherwise wouldn't have and tOSU gets out of their commitment to him long, long before signing day.

Actually, everything worked out for everyone involved. Pitt is getting a solid running back and Sibley seems happy and holds no bitterness at all towards OSU. I don't have a problem letting a recruit know where he stands this somewhat early in the recruiting process. Sibley still had almost 8 months to latch onto another school.

Huh??

I said he wouldnt have committed to a greyshirt.

I dont understand the negativity

They did tell him that his option was to greyshirt or pay his own way as a walk on. That is why he decommitted. Worked out well for us, but otherwise he would be going to Ohio State.
