Kind of a snow day project. Was bored. So I went back to Rivals 5 star QB lists from 2002-2020. And listed them and ranked them 0-5.
0 Was "who?" Complete bust
1 Maybe had some PT, but no real impact
2 Played, maybe started a year or 2, but again never had much of an impact
3 Started, maybe drafted into the NFL, decent college career
4 Good college player, NFL roster, had some impact like All Conference, etc...maybe even started in the NFL
5 HR. All American, Heisman Finalist/Winner high 1st rd pick.
That was my subjective criteria. It is interesting seeing some of these names, and also some of the 4 stars directly below these 5 stars. Some are utterly "who?" And there are just so many misses.
