He played a few snaps in first half vs psu. Did not notice him in second half.
Our dl needed a break, especially in hot weather. Coaches should rotate dl a little more IMHO.
Who'd have guessed Blair would be taking 90% of snaps. We had Hendrix Being all conference, Edwards being his backup, true freshmen recruits coming in and getting PT, Gilbert especially, maybe moving camp over. Crazy how things work out.
I think they are limited on the number of healthy, capable options they feel they have this early in the year.
Edwards looked very good against Villanova, so I am pretty confident he will be a contributor, or at least can be when needed to be
EDIT: I will edit this to say I know that when I said I thought he looked good against Villanova, that doesnt mean he WAS good.. or the coaches didnt see him make mistakes. I just thought he showed a good ability to penetrate the LOS

-Blair was injured last year and had a bad shoulder the entire season and still started 10 games. This was noted but many people overlooked it. Our Dline is good, and Our Dline Coach Sims is also good, but our depth is limited. Narduzzi had mentioned he and Hendrix were pushing each other. Losing Hendrix is a significant loss, but not crippling. It Pitt lost Price this year, it would be a major and irreplaceable loss at this point.
