The statistics won't show it, but Akron had more than a few drops. I don't have the stats in front of me, but I'd bet that the Zips' receivers dropped more balls than Liberace.
If they make those catches, we would've seen a different game. Not saying that Pitt would've lost, but it certainly would've been much, much closer.
I doubt that Iowa and the other teams on the schedule will be so generous.....
