Based on Pitts horrid relationship with ex players here is an idea on how to start to build better relationships with old players. Why not have the home coming game remember some team from the past and really do it up. Nice halftime presentation and sell some throwback shirts and auction some autographed memorabilia. Have some dinner honoring them and sell tickets to the event.
Also for two other home games honor an all American player. Have them and their family in nice highlight reel. Make them honorary capita ins and the whole 9 yards. Pitt needs to improve relationships with ex players and this seems like a great port unity which could also drive excitement for a few extra games.
