Hialeah (Fla.) American defensive end Jamal Smith tells me that he is looking to set his official visit to Pitt for next weekend. That would coincide with Pitt's season opener against Youngstown State, and it works well for Smith since American plays on Thursday night, which gives him the whole weekend to visit.
That visit should get scheduled in the next couple days.
