And now tom bradley speaks

It'll have to be a stain he lives with for the rest of his life. He should just spill it and feel liberated again.

Great news for PSU. They should get them under oath in the MM civil trial. Should be great for Penn State. Unless of course they change their tune under oath...

Same as schiano. He never knew of any incident.

Best defense is to deny deny deny.

At this point these guys look foolish.
We all knew there we more incidents and cover ups.
I wonder when allegations against players will resurface?

They no longer work for Pedo U. It is easier on them and their new jobs to just lie and pretend they knew nothing. It is pathetiic as to what people will do to keep things in the dark and never let the cat out of the bag. If it didn't tarnish their reputations as well, maybe they would have told the truth, but for them it is much easier to just continue to play the same sick game.

There is little reason for them to ever be forthcoming with information if they in fact did witness anything. No good (for the alleged witnesses, at least) comes from admitting such a thing 20-30 years after the fact. Not only would they be admitting to lying, they would also be admitting to ruining the lives of the many victims who came afterwards. I agree, it would be the right thing to do for the victims. But admitting to such a thing could be the end of their career, marriage, friendships, etc... Especially when it appears that no one will ever have definitive proof.

What irritates me is how much people are willing to vilify Mike McQuery when he is the only one who did anything. Sure, he could have (and should have) done more, but he is the only one who did anything at all. The rest of the coaching staff gets to go on with their lives and his career (and in many ways his life) has been ruined.

Really, let's be honest, what does Bradley or Schiano have to gain by admitting anything? Deny. Deny. And Deny some more. Admitting that they knew, witnessed or whatever absolutely does them no good. So.....I mean what do you expect them to say? Because if they admit it, not only are they incriminated, EVERYTHING gets opened up again.

It is not what they have to gain it is the fact if they admit now and didn't come forth earlier they broke the law then. That would most certainly make then unhirable for the rest of.their lives

Schiano, Bradley, and all other former Sandusky disciples refused to testify on his behalf at his trial.

Just think, if you lined up 20 PSU assistants and asked them to testify on Sandusky's behalf in a court of law that they worked with him for years and never saw or heard about anything, that would hold some weight with the jury. The fact that these guys wouldn't defend Sandusky is telling. So, yea they can release statements. But those are meaningless.

Actually, they were on the original prosecution witness list but were later removed because they felt they didn't need them to get a conviction.

Notice that Bradley doesn't deny knowledge of anything after the 80's & 90's.

Now why would that be?

True, but at the same time there was absolutely no benefit for them to testify for him. Even if he was found not guilty you still get vilified by some and potentially look bad.

If that school would let that happen for 30 years, why wouldn't they allow it again? I would never allow my kid to play there, I would choose Slippery Rock first
