That's right. It's time for the coaching staff to be going hard on the recruiting trail. Does anybody know our chances for Sy, Diallo, or ORN? I figure we need two of the three if Chukwuka or Brown transfers. There's also the in-house visit with McNeil, but Capel isn't messing around. I want Quinerly
The spring signing period starts very shortly. It runs April 17 to May 15 so things should start to happen pretty darn soon. Fingers crossed on Sy, Diallo and ORN.
Just a FYI. The last month or so is a quiet period when coaches are not permitted to contact recruits. I think it ends Thursday.
Do you consider Sy setting up his Pitt official visit (for this week) to be good news?

That's good to know. Holtmann did visit Diallo a couple weeks back though.
I'd like to believe that Pitt, at least (being a realist), will get 1 of Diallo, Sy and ORN. Probably a new name or two emerges for bigger prospects.
Also, Pitt has the luxury of having 4 and probably one more scholarship for 2019 and beyond. Maybe 1 scholarship won't be used and saved for 2020. Pitt could get 1-2 sit and play next year Transfers. Hopefully they can get 1-2 Grad Transfers. and maybe 1 more HS prospect.
Coaching changes still happening. Decommitments will occur. Lots going on.
Definitely a lot of moving pieces and time to move them - keep in mind, Pitt didn’t have McGowens until April 24th of last year, and X and Toney came after that.
I think it was that they were getting a visit from a good recruit being hyped. That hardly reaches the level of "good news" as we fans would view the term.
