Andor S2

Disney has butchered the Star Wars franchise but this was not a bad series based on the few episodes I watched.

Star Wars has been butchered by Lucas with the first trilogy sequels along with ewoks from jedi. I enjoyed episode 7. 1st season of mandolorean was good. Andor was great. To me andor was the grown up star wars we deserved. Best thing since empire in my opinion.

Rogue 1 was fantastic as well imo . Agree on Andor.

Andor season 1 was excellent, so hopefully that continues in the second and final season. The acting was really good and the Imperial scenes well done.

And then they gave us season 3 of The Mandalorian and the atrocious Acolyte.

It's almost as if you hire a creator who has made good shows/movies before and add in some good actors, you have a much higher likelihood of ending up with a good result like Andor. Imagine that!

Had a much better appreciation of rouge 1 after andor. I have maintained the Vader scene in that is the best Vader ever and a huge missed opportunity to show how evil he was. Instead the worst we get is Hayden killing younglings off screen in a cheesey moment

Yeah, they're batting like .300 right now, which would be great if this were baseball. Even The Mandalorian's quality has dimished pretty significantly under much of the same team as the first season. Not even Marshal Bullock could save it or Boba Fett.

The Andor guy definitely has a specific type of project that he excels in, I can't imagine it's easy to find people with his type of resume.

I didn't see the most recent few shows, but they got a pretty heavy hitter to showrun that Spielbergian kids one.

I don’t even care that the usually OT fanboys will drag this thread down. I’m hype.
One of the few projects Disney got right. I was worried that season 2 wouldn’t get the green light because it cost a lot of money to make season 1 and it didn’t do well.

Not sure how Disney can continue to make these things that aren’t profitable.

Looking forward to this.

I haven't watched skeleton crew yet but will before andor season 2
Skeleton Crew was a really, really tough watch. Not because it wasn’t good, but because it’s a kid show. It’s pretty well done in a lot of ways, but don’t expect to get much out of it. If you have a young kid to watch with, then it’ll be well worth it. If I was a kid, I would have been super into it.

Throws off an ET/Goonies vibe.

Hard disagree. Rogue One and Andor are both light years better than RotJ.
Rogue One just gets better with age. Soooo good.

It really is an outlier in the Disney era.

That movie wasn’t without its problems too. I think Kennedy made directorial firings at the end of production and massive reshoots were needed. But to her credit, it worked out. Pretty sure the fantastic ending to the film that we saw was a last minute change. Could be wrong though.

She loves reshoots. Whose fault would that be?
