coming in yet another billionaire tax cut.

That will bring his total, not including interest, to roughly $12 trillion in new debt in under 5 years in office. DOGE or some other idiotic nonsense for morons who can't read.

Elon did enough. Got his enemies out and got the data for his AI venture.

Poor JoeyC you are really bad at this. Look at Trump's deficit's by year and you will see that he only was over a trillion in 2020 during COVID. Yet Biden's lowest deficit was 1.38 trillion. Sorry to hand you another L. And no a tax cut doesn't just equal debt JoeyC. Come on buddy you know at least a little more than this right? And gosh don't look at Obama's deficits...

Total new debt by dotard donny in his first term without interest was $7.8 trillion. Math shouldn't be this difficult for you.

Lesson here should be, your orange god-king is lying to you.

"I think I already done enough (damage)."
Did you see part of this Big Beautiful Bill is that the states can't regulate the AI that these clowns are going to be doing for the next 10 years? The Mideast investors' money plus Elon's DOGE data stealing should send shivers down all of our necks.

No, no, no, I'm certain dotard donny will make sure nothing unethical will occur. Nothing represents ethical behavior quite like a flandering rapist felon demented conman.

Yeah which is less than the 8.4 trillion by Biden even though the worst of the Covid spending was by Trump. Good effort Joey but another L.

Are you just making up numbers Or simply doubling the actual numbers?

You have to look at the % change. See the chart in this site...

Yeah I've seen that. The total debt was lower when Trump started so the percentage is higher for him than Biden. But Obama was way worse by that metric than both Biden and Trump.

I hate debt and Trump's debt and spending were my biggest criticisms of him first term. But sadly it's just normal for all presidents since Bush.

You know the fix to all this, right?

Increase taxes on the wealthy and corporations to pre-Reagan era %'s...when we were "great" if you truly want to MAGA. God forbid we don't cuck to the billionaires though.

Yeah, but how much is enough to tax the billionaires? They already pay most of the net taxes. And lower taxes have traditionally been good for job creation. Obviously we disagree philosophically, but I would say we spend too much as a country and have a spending problem too.

Perhaps there is some number in the middle that would satisfy everybody and that is how government is supposed to work where there is a give-and-take.

Take a look at the 1950's when we used to maintain roads and highways...they were paying an exorbitant 90% rate. Now it's in the 30's. Not saying we go back to 90% but a small increase takes care of that debt.

Also I saw that cutting back on IRS to fight tax cheating by the rich actually cost us billions in revenue in the recent time frame. Why do this and cut programs for the poor or PBS for God sake? Where are our priorities?

Hopefully the link works...

PBS? Lolol. Yes how could we live without government funded tv....

Federal revenue grew substantially from Reagan tax cuts. But even he spent too much and had too much debt.

that graph is interesting as I didn’t know about those historical rates.

Not hard to find JoeyC.

We talk about universal health care and who would pay for it. I bet if you run the numbers, it could all be paid for, along with eliminating our debt, by just going to 50% tax for the highest earners.

Won't ever happen though...they are in the pockets of all Congress. We are an Oligarchy.

Universal health care ran by the same government that decided PSA testing for our President would be too costly? Hard pass on that.

You’re starting to catch on.

Do you know what you are reading? It's a GOP statement not an accounting.
Dude come on! Here try this! Look at Biden’s debt. You’re killing me JoeyC!

You would lose that bet.

I don’t believe that would cover the cost.

I literally just posted a center-right analysis of the new Biden debt.

You're looking at a GOP partisan talking point that includes doubling the cost primarily with an assumption that interest rates remain high for 10 years. Using the same approach dotard donny created new debt of $15.8 trillion in his first 4 years. Get it now?

Yeah I get that you don’t understand how this works. Investopedia uses data from Treasury and clearly displays the numbers.

So by your calculations did LBJ add 10's of trillions to the national debt for starting Medicare and Medicaid? And are recent presidents responsible for the almost 1 trillion dollars per year of service on the debt?
