Basically the newly promoted DC for the Alamo Bowl at the University of Colorado(Joe Tumpkin) was physically abusing his girlfriend of 2 years repeatedly. Woman informs Head Coach Mike MacIntyre a month before Bowl game and the University does nothing. Then the assistant gets promoted to DC for the bowl game even though the Head Coach, AD and others knew about the abuse. It took the media finally inquiring about it before finally Tumpkin is forced to resign and is charged with felonies.

Reading this stuff just makes you shake your head. I can only imagine how much this happened decades ago when there was no social media, no internet, etc...

Just look at happy valley. JoePa covered up much besides the Sandusky rape scandal. No local media would cover anything, hell even the SC police brought the players to to Joe for "punishment" rather than arrest them. Anything for the sake of the FB team.
