Eastern Michigan senior associate athletic director Chris Hoppe has been named executive athletic director for sport administration and student-athlete services at Pitt. Hoppe spent six years at EMU and worked under new Pitt AD Heather Lyke.

This hire looks like a good hire both from a gymnastics and gymnastics coaching standpoint. Did those at Arkansas but is originally from New Jersey so should be able to recruit well.

If people are happy with an EMU ( avg MAC U) hire as staff support for Lyke also an EMU alum I'm guessing we'll be happy with almost anyone.
The new gymnastics coach from Arkansas was the Assoc HC and Arkansas had a losing record and didnt do well in the SEC tourneys.
But again I guess any news is good news??

With All Due Respect, Sir, I Believe This Is Gonna Be Pitt's Finest Athletic Director.
It takes time to Rebuild Athletics but is starts in Football and Basketball that make the Revenues to build and support all others. Pitt has just been in the ACC since 2012. The hardest part is finding the the Right People that commit to Pitt and stay! It takes time not any fast fix!
