1/3 of those murders was by a Swedish-born citizen murdering immigrants at a school where they were learning the language and culture, because of bullshit social media stories like this.

2024 Sweden had its lowest number of murders in more than decade. If this year continues on the same pace as that article, Sweden will finish the year with a 0.7 murder rate per 100,000 which would rank it as one of the 20 safest counties in the world. That number is also 1/8th of the United States murder rate.

El Salvador is cooking the books on its murder rate the same way that China is. The police are only reporting murders that they can solve, which is how the country has a nationwide murder resolution rate of nearly 99%. They also don't count any body that isn't identified as a murder victim, a practice started in 2021. You are falling for the reasoning being used to justify his "temporary" dictatorship and suspension of the state's constitution that has been extended 28 times in a row.
