Losing by 27 to Iowa. #53 NET ranking and headed to 11-15. Louisville would probably beat them right now.
So they should move up to Last 4 in and we should move down to a 10 seed right?Losing by 27 to Iowa. #53 NET ranking and headed to 11-15. Louisville would probably beat them right now.

He seemed like a very strong hire at the time. Wonder what weren’t wrong. I don’t follow basketball except ACC and some MSU.Its going to be interesting what OSU does at seasons end.
The entire fanbase and media want Holtmann fired.
OSU just gave him a huge contact extension through 2028. They extended him just last year.
They have a good but highly overrated recruiting class coming in next year that looks way better on paper than what it actually is because of ranking players on potential.
I think OSU is stuck with him for a few more years.
And the Ron Cooks of the world will continue to sing the praises of the Big10.I truly believe the big 10 is overated and no better, possibly worse than the ACC. In a one game winner take all, I would take Pitt, Virginia, or Miami over any big 10 team including Purdue, regardless of what the metrics say. I also think our next tier of teams like Syracuse, NC St, and Duke are better than Maryland, Iowa, and Michigan and Michigan St. And Northwestern. They have more middling teams than the ACC, but they just aren't very good. They don't have any real bottom feeders like Georgia Tech and Louisville, if you want to use that argument then fine. The bottom line, I would bet that in the tournament, just like last year, the ACC will fare better than the Big 10, and at least one ACC team makes it farther than any big 10 team does. Keep in mind, there probably will be at least two more big 10 teams in the field.
“The Big Ten teams are all so great top to bottom that they knock each other off all season, and by the time they play someone in post season, they are exhausted”. That is paraphrasing but that is very close to what he said at one time when I was unfortunate enough to be in earshot of the Fan in a public place. And the Ron Cooks of the world will continue to sing the praises of the Big10.

I believe it was Michigan ST back around the turn of the millennium if memory serves me right. If I am wrong, I am sure Joe the Panther fan, will be by shortly to correct me.It is the same story with the Big Pretend every year. More hype than substance. When is the last time a Big 10 team won the Big Dance?

Thanks Joe, I knew you couldn't resist!Maryland won in 2002 and they are in the Big Ten.
Now.
I am sure that the Big Ten has tried to claim that one!
Thanks Joe, I knew you couldn't resist!
