I actually think the post saying that Pitt's top two coaching candidates need to be Urban Meyer and Chris Petersen was even more message board geniuses-worthy material than the Deion one.
I think they're Urban Meyered out. There's almost literally a post on there from at least one fan from every school suggesting they should kick the tires on him.
I would take any coach that I think would win, I don't care if he's a good person, I don't care what he does with "the kids" just win by any means necessary, I'd even take a vacated national championship, because I'd still have the t shirt, a DVD and the memories, they can't erase that

I’m convinced there’s PSU/WVU fans who are purposely making those types of threads and then submitting them to that account. There’s a few Penn State accounts on Twitter who are obsessed with all things Pitt… I don’t get it.

He would have if Pitt had beat Colorado to the punch. A year ago, he would have probably taken any Power 5 offer. People hate his personality, but his personality draws eyes to wherever he is and draws top recruits, he drew 5 stars to Jackson State. If Colorado is good in the near future, he'll be the tie breaker, if it's between them and a school with a boring coach with the same record, he'll get a playoff or big bowl bid because the networks will demand it for the TV ratings.
They had a 4-star true freshman receiver who played his first game the other day, since some guys were out with injuries. Dude had 7 catches for 196 yards and 1 TD.
Bub Means, a 5th year guy who many though would be our go-to receiver this season, has 7 catches and 146 yards and 1 TD through 5 games.
Suffice to say, they're bringing in a different level of talent than we are.
They did use SMF a few weeks back. Still a troll maybe.

I have eased up on him after the 60 Minutes interview. He said he absolutely told the current players that they should consider entering the portal. But he followed up with it by saying if simply my words drive you off then I probably cannot count on you on the field at any time. So stick around and prove me wrong or let just my words chase you. How many college coaches have we seen who are passive aggressive with players in hopes a kid leaves.
Then Saturday when he was getting his butt kicked at half time he basically decided to let freshmen play to see what they would do and they were pretty successful.
He will do whatever psych job there is to win. Meanwhile we have watched an inept quarterback get week after week of reinforcement from the head coach to a 1-4 record.

I think some of them (probably the same person who always creates new troll accounts) has “a few problems upstairs.” A few years back, they created a thread wishing my family and I would die in a car crash.
How sad is it that someone has that much disdain for someone they’ve never met just because they graduated from another university?
Whatever you may think, I personally just try to do whatever beats the system in place at the moment. I agree that Prime is a clown and circus act, but if that's what wins, that will be my playbook, F doing it "the right way" and losing

I am still offended at all of the animosity towards my idea. I would think that 90% would agree and 10% will not like Coach Prime no matter how good he is...
I don’t think it’s that hiring Coach Prime is a bad idea itself. I think the urban/rural joke fell flat on most people. That Twitter page also likes to post ideas of X school hiring Prime, Urban, Saban, etc. on a regular basis. Yours’ just happened to be the obligatory post of the day.

Of course, Pitt should fire Narduzzi and hire Deion but there is a 0.0% chance he'd leave Colorado for Pitt. Pitt would have to way overpay. Maybe $20 million per year and they arent going to pay that obviously

If he really is "that good", he's going to ditch the program in another year for greener pastures and leave CU in shambles. If you really are a Pitt fan, you should know what that's like by now.
