Still need a QB, RB and TE

A really good left OT and bigger DE would also be great.

QB - A veteran backup I suppose, but they’ll have a better idea after spring practice.

RB - I’d like a big back

TE - Couldn’t hurt to add one

OT - I’d like to add one

DE - We brought in 3 transfers

They won't take a QB possibly a offensive lineman or d lineman unless someone shakes out from the final four teams maybe in the spring

It will be tough finding the right QB. Holstein is the starter so the crosses off a bunch of QBs that want to start or compete for a starting spot. The next tier would be a young guy willing to backup for a year or so and then compete for a spot. But Eli is a RS SO, Dugger a RS FR, and Mason H a true FR....that's a lot of other young guys already here, don't it would be attractive to another young guy. Best bet is probably a veteran FCS guys with a lot of starting experience, but not quite good enough that anyone is offering him an FBS #1 job. Maybe 4th or 5th year FCS guy like that, that wants to be part of a P4 team for a year or two, and a chance to compete for the #2 spot and maybe get some back-up playing time.

Not sure if he’s still at PSU but I’d like to see them go after a vet QB like Chad Powers.

I'm fine with Dugger being QB2. It's just really risky going into a season with only 3 scholarship QBs. I mean you saw this year we had to play 4 QBs (and we didn't exactly sure up the OL to keep the QB healthy).

I don't think a true freshman with one game of experience is scaring off the type of QBs we would be going after. I'm talking about a veteran FCS/DII QB looking to finish off his career at a bigger school.

All that being said, they 100% need another OT and DE. They do not have a 3rd OT on the roster. If we get another injury there it's a repeat of this year.

You saw the DE rotation this year. I like Jimmy Scott, Blaine Spires and Jaeden Moore. That being said Spires isn't the biggest and Moore was a pass rush specialist at Oregon. We like to rotate a lot at that position and I would like another guy to be in the rotation before you get to Temple(injuries and wasn't great in 2023 as a starter) and Zelinsky (a fringe starter from a 5-7 MAC team).

I don't know why they took another WR this week. Hicks looks okay, but definitely not the biggest need.

I'm resigned that they aren't taking a bigger back with seven RBs already on the roster. Shoutout Che for making it through another portal window still on the roster.

I feel like if TE was a priority in this offense they would have used them more this year.

A depth LB would also be nice as all unknowns after the three starters.

Needs:
1. OT
2. DE
gap
3. LB
4. QB
