Any word on Bre?

Rachel seemed to be ok. I think Bre is injured but I couldn't tell what the injury is. Maybe back or abdominal? She wasn't limping but seemed stiff. Hope she can play tomorrow.
Rachel seemed fine - in fact after the scare I thought the team played its best volleyball of the night.

Agree re Bre - she wasn’t limping but seemed stiff- who knows . I’ll take Fisher at his word that she’s just resting.

I don't think she participated in pre-game warmup, she didn't warm up during timeouts or between sets, and she didn't participate in the post-game dance circle. I believe that she was resting, but I think there was a reason for it that he didn't mention. Hopefully she's ok to go tomorrow. H2P

I sure hope we see her tomorrow, unless Fish thinks they can get it done without her. Obviously, huge drop off to Virlan.

I swear I recall a moment in the GT match last Saturday when Bre fell or slipped.....but I can't remember anything more. She didn't leave the game. I would have to go back and watch again to be sure. In any event....I agree with everyone's view. I was in section 108....so I had a pretty good view of the bench. She didn't seem to be moving around very well.

I agree with V76's observation.
My guess is that's she is "injured"...the severity of which, we don't know. Bases for my comments:
-Given that tonight was the first game of the tournament run, even if Coach Fisher wanted to rest Kelley, I would have thought he would give her some PT, even if it was brief.
-Rather than let Virlan split the entire match with Jones, he gave Garibalidi some good minutes in the 3rd. If Kelley is injured, this seems like it was a logical move rather than have Garibaldi come in cold, if the need arises.

Not r/t to Bre, but does sec 108 include the zoo section, or do the rows for 108 start behind it? I have tix in 108 for next weekend if we advance so I'm trying to figure out how close the seats are to the court. Thx.

108 is midcourt.....the seats are very good. The zoo is below where the seats begin in 108. Students can stand without obstructing the view of other spectators.

The injury Rachel had is one which sometimes you can play with but gets worse overnight. Hopefully, both can play tonight. I’m not sure we can beat Oklahoma if both are out.

My daughter spoke to her after the game and she was very easy going and in good spirits - joking around. I saw no indications of discomfort or injury.

My assumption is Bre has some issue where she isnt 100% but its not bad enough where she would sit out if the game was really in jeapardy. So Fish being cautious is probably a good thing . Lets see how today goes. Glad to see Garibaldi get some minutes . Only 5 ft 11 but she has got some serious vertical!

It could be time of the month.

The team has been dealing with some illness this week. Fortunately the opponent allowed us to sub liberally and rest some people.

We should be in good shape tonight
I’m hoping either is the case because that would mean it’s temporary.

And as someone who coached 17 year old girls, I know how challenging it can be for some.

Don't forget if you are trying to figure out how close you are, the first row in section 108 is not row A, it's row F.

Don't want to think about that. Oklahoma is kind of like an NC State team. I think we win even if we're not at full strength....but if Rachel is hampered that would be very bad. Let's put it this way....if Dan F has ideas about subbing out the starters for any length of time....this is his last chance. After today....the competition gets much stiffer. Oklahoma's conference record is 5-11. The only reason they have an overall winning record is because they beat West Virginia twice.

Bre Kelley is playing. Was definitely a case of wanting to keep her fresh/healthy on a back to back
