Anybody wish the Selection Show used a different format?

To create more drama, I wished they would just announce seeds first building up to the Last 4 Byes and Last 4 In. Before they announce them, they show a graphic of what bubble teams are left. Then ask the panel who they think gets in, go to commerical, then come back and announce them.

Then, reveal the brackets. Its double the drama. Everyone will tune it to see what seed they got, then you will try to figure out which of the opposite seeds you'd least want to play so the bracket reveal would still be entertaining as heck.

I won't even watch. I will just go online when it is over and read the bracket page. The rest is a waste of my time.

My guess, and it is just a guess, is that they will not start actually revealing the bracket until 6:00. The Memphis - UConn game might not even be over at 5:30, and they can't start revealing the bracket until they actually know who is in it.

That should take about a nanosecond. I'd change the show to a one-second burst on Facebook. I am completely turned off by these talking heads. Won't watch it at all.

Well I think they should send the brackets to Sean Miller Fan. You can then post them on the Lair and the rest of civilization can then access them off the Lair.

Count on CBS to shove their middle finger to ESPN this evening. It's there show and their tournament. ESPN has their 15 talking heads on stand by at 7 to break down everything.

Yeah but for several years in a row on ESPN it seemed like Bilas would bait Dickie V into a head explosion by telling him mid majors don't belong in when Dick would get on a band wagon of one or two....

But they go too long justv to wait for that theses days now; and likely Bilas has been barred from doing that again.
I mean literally I thought his head would explode...

I would have rather have had watched Sir Charles blow up the touch screen board and then have CBS simply disclose the brackets. No undue drama. I get enough stress watching PGA golf.

After watching CBS's new format for the show (ie lets drag it out for 2 hours talking nonsense), you have to admit my idea of announcing all the seeds first building up to Last 4 Byes and Last 4 In.......then doing the brackets is much better television.

Its about ratings though, they had to drag it out to keep people watching which is why I think they should announce all the seeds, top 4 seeds, go to break, next 4 seeds, go to break, worst 4 seeds, go to break, then do the 9-12 seess which most people are wondering who made it and who didn't. Commercial, then come back, do 2 regions, break, 2 more regions, break, analyze.

Yeah that really did take a lot of thinking... but I like it. I actually really dislike what they do now. They just reveal the matchups, but then talk about the matchups after every region. If they're gonna do it this way, I'd like for it to go quicker. If not for that leaked bracket, I would've went crazy waiting that long to see where Pitt was going.
