The Pittsburgh media and a great majority of Pittsburgh sports followers are clueless on the game. It's understandable though, as Pitt basketball's success track record just spans a little over 10 years and without a pro team to follow, interest and self-education through watching it regularly, hasn't fostered an astute basketball community.

Most Pittsburgh sports reporters and or talk show hosts are anti Pitt in basketball and football, look at those 2 idiots on the fan, cook and Poni and sometime when I listen to Pompiani he sound to be anti Pitt at times too and there are times some Pittsburgh tv stations don't even give Pitt scores, I understand it's a pro town but Pitt is major college and deserve more attention from the media, right, good luck with that!!!!!
