on the Pitt Official Athletic Site. He seemed excited about majoring in an engineering field. He appears to be a very bright and articulate young man and I hope he succeeds in getting a Pitt engineering degree.
That being said, majoring in an engineering field is very difficult to do while playing major college football. The coaching staff likely will need to cut him some slack on participating in some practices and meetings since required classes in engineering fields can be limited as to the days and times they are available. So, there are certain to be at least some conflicts with football practices and meetings that cannot be avoided.
I presume that Coach Narduzzi and his staff will cut this young man the needed slack to pursue his academic dreams. There are some football schools, unfortunately, that won't accommodate players wanting to major in engineering or science the slack they need to succeed academically.
