I am sure we've met at a game watch, networking or scholarship event. I am a Kettering resident and have been since 1989. Are you heading to Pitt for homecoming? I am taking my two OSU (fall break) sons to game.Hi There Dayton Panther. What part of Dayton? We live in the Beavercreek area and have both football and basketball season tickets. Feel free to send me a message if you want to say hi.
Homecoming games are usually Noon Kickoff. A whole lot of winning by both teams needs to happen before the NC State game would be moved to 3:30.
Homecoming games are usually kicked off whenever the television people tell us to kick off, just like every other game we play.
You forgot about the Pirates telling Pitt when they can kickoff.
I was responding to the "just like every other game they play", but apparently you weren't able to grasp that. The Pirate's season will be long over by the time homecoming rolls around...so the joke is not relevant [or funny]. Hail to Pitt!
wasn't relevant but was kind of funny. The Pirate's season will be long over by the time homecoming rolls around...so the joke is not relevant [or funny]. Hail to Pitt!
Hoping for noon for selfish reasons. Cousins son getting married that day so I can skip the ceremony and watch Pitt on the tube then go to the recepion later.Homecoming games are usually Noon Kickoff. usually the thanksgiving week game where you'd almost be ok with a noon game..All Pitt home games start at noon or 12:30. Maybe once a year they get moved out of the noon hour.

CurmudgeonDuh, I "grasped" the poor joke. Apparently you are grasping for straws of laughter. Hail to Pitt!

Good call. Why just last season we played seven home games and all of them started at either 12:00 or 12:30.
Oh, no wait, it was six of them. No, check that, five. Wait, maybe it was four. No, now that I think about it it was actually three.
Hold on, that can't be right. We always kick off at 12:00 or 12:30. The notion that we actually only had three of our seven games last season at 12:00 or 12:30 is simply unpossible. My memory must be on the fritz. Or something.
One was Thursday night so it couldn't start at noon. 3 out of 6 started at noon or 12:30 and another at 1:30.
