Anyone have game on DVD for personal use and enjoyment?

I dvr it. I watched it already once. Is there a trick to saving things on dvr?

I don't think it is. That is why I asked

There has to be a way to reproduce HD content. Its probably just that you'd need professional equipment, probably (thousands of dollars) plus and not a simple Sony blu ray recorder/burner that I have.

There really is no market at all for this so that is why I'm guessing you cant do this unless you want to buy sophisticated equipment.

Now, you could easily transfer it onto a DVD in standard def. That's simple.

I had to replace the DVR this week, and lost the game.

If it was an X1 box through Comcast, it would still be on "the cloud" if you have that enabled.

Also, it will be on ESPN3 for about a year. You can hook your phone, tablet, or computer up to your TV and record it to DVD, assuming your TV has those yellow/red/white AV cables. A lot of newer TVs don't.

I've gotten into doing this myself for most games steelers and pitt. Tough though, you have to dvr it and wait an hour or two, which is tough.. No answering texts and keep off the radio and any sports channels. But if you can do it, hit the little auto forward 15 second option and it makes timeouts, the 30 instant replays and of course commercials vanish.
