Watching that video reminded me how great Van Pelt was at play action. Many times you couldn’t tell where the ball was. It’s such a lost art with current day quarterbacks. I don’t understand why they don’t put more of an effort into it because if you can freeze a defender for even a fraction is a second, that could lead to big plays.

I feel like a lot of QBs over dramatize play action. Ben did that.
