Yea they are higher ranked but is that how they determine benches and uniform color since they are both 11 seedsMSST is 43rd seed and Pitt is 44th seed. MSST is the "home" team.
I vote for the all black unis
Does that rule out the all Gold/Yellow too? Sounds like a weird rule.My first thought is that the NCAA wouldn't permit alternate uniforms in the Tournament--because they're the NCAA.

Yes. The overall higher seed is the determination.Yea they are higher ranked but is that how they determine benches and uniform color since they are both 11 seeds
It’s sad that you think anyone believes you will buy tickets. Why waste a thread? You couldn’t afford to buy tickets in stubhub for 6 bucks at the Pete.Would rather sit on the Pitt side. Do they go by overall rank meaning Miss St is ranked higher and thus, home?
God, let's hope so.
If we are going to make such a big deal about our colors then let's actually wear our uniforms that are those colors. Wear the plain old regular blue ones.
They wasted that uniform by not putting the panther head on it instead of the P. They should ditch the black and instead do the steel gray (or whatever they call it) like the tees the team had on yesterday. A steel gray uni with the panther head on the chest.Yep. I’d love it if they’d mothball the black and gold unis and most definitely anything with the giant P.

And if they don’t do that, they should ditch those ugly yellows with panthers across the front and slap a panther head on those.
John, are you going to the game? Tony would be there if he weren't in California ... good info about Ricardo Greer and the Dayton crowd. I've watched a few games in that arena and it can get real noisyFrom experience, Dayton fans pick their favorite team (usually its organic) which provides a real "home" team feel in these games. Some teams hire the Dayton pep squad to be their "band" and gets the fans behind their team.
Often its the high IQ of team play or a high level, demonstative player that the fans appreciate.
Dayton's associate head mbb coach is Ricardo Greer, I would hope that the former Pitt team captain has some warmth for his alma mater and sits near Pitt's bench.
Hail to Pitt!
