Anyone read the Trib today?

I believe it was Artie Rowell that said he heard rumors Gameday WILL be at Pitt/Notre Dame. A little surprised, but it is Notre Dame vs. a ranked Pitt team. Really only surprised because they're hoping we get by Syracuse and UNC, otherwise it will make ESPN look like it made the wrong choice. If nothing else I'm hoping it's true just to hear one more James from State College radio call the week leading up to the game.

No way they come to Pittsburgh if Pitt loses either of the next 2 games. If they win I can see that happening and it would be awesome.

They were talking today on GameDay about how Notre Dame had a weak schedule this year. Yet, they themselves are considering seeing them play two weeks in a row.

They can decide whenever they want. They didn't decide where to go this weekend until last weekend. Sometimes they decide well ahead of time, sometimes they decide a week ahead of time. I'm sure they have conversations with people well before hand, but there's no reason they can't talk with several schools and make a decision on relatively short notice.

I'm sure there will be a subtle jab about how it is like a home game for ND because it's America, everyone likes Notre Dame. Just wait, I guarantee those would be almost their exact words. Of course, Herby will probably also say Ohio State is the only place where ND fans get drowned out by the home team.

Well there are still thousands and thousands of tickets available for the game, so if the Notre Dame fans want to make it like a home game they can certainly give it a go.
