It seems like the coaching staff is fearful of turnovers in the second half to the point that they adopt a different gameplan. In the first half we moved the ball best going uptempo, making intermediate throws and giving Pickett a longer leash. He did throw a pick on the deeper ball to french, and of course the high throw that went through griffin-Stewart’s hands. Despite that, and French’s fumble, they still had command of the game, and racked up 291 yards in the first half. The second half brought wide receiver screens and an ineffective running game, no turnovers, but no points. We are better off risking the turnovers and scoring the points. We lose all momentum with the conservative game-plan.
