Has this game become the forgotten game ,I actually forgot that this game is tomorrow, used to be a big game
Both teams stink. Navy had a decent run for a while which made the game more interesting, but watching two bad teams run the wing T for 2 hours isn't much to get excited about for many.
I am planning to go to the one in DC. This is on my bucket list at the top of the sports category.Has this game become the forgotten game ,I actually forgot that this game is tomorrow, used to be a big game
Anybody who watches these teams and thinks they're seeing a wing T doesn't know a wing T from a model T.Both teams stink. Navy had a decent run for a while which made the game more interesting, but watching two bad teams run the wing T for 2 hours isn't much to get excited about for many.
Same for me. It’s unwatchable as far as the football goes. Especially played in a soulless NFL stadium.Meh. Hey, I respect the tradition. But this is about as interesting as the Gasperilla Bowl. Sorry, don't hate me.
the loyal faithful will tell you no chance, no way.Wasnt there talk of bringing the game to Pgh? Im in Philly this weekend and the bars were hopping with service vets in for the game. Would be great for Pgh.
It was really cool a few years ago when it was played in a driving snow storm. But now on the East Coast, we no longer have snow in December, that interesting aspect is even gone.Same for me. It’s unwatchable as far as the football goes. Especially played in a soulless NFL stadium.
I would however love to see Army play a home game on a nice October day at West Point. Just for the setting and pageantry alone.
This game is way more meaningful then a Pitt - psu game for tens of millions around the world. Both teams stink. Navy had a decent run for a while which made the game more interesting, but watching two bad teams run the wing T for 2 hours isn't much to get excited about for many.

I think one reason why I always hated it, it signified the end of college football season outside of the bowls.i used to dislike it but have come around to enjoying it. you cant compare it to a P5 football game though, that's where it fails miserably. You have to just watch it for what it is, two military schools going against each other with a very long and proud history..
IF anyone tries to compare it to a bama-auburn, pitt-psu, usc-nd or hell, Any actual P5 rivalry, it fails miserably. i dont like that comparison to be honest becuase well these academies are playing under different rules and guidelines than any P5 football school.
Well after the cheesy firing of the head coach, torpedo that Navy idea.Army-Navy is like an ACC Coastal game -- usually a pretty even match. Only better played.
For me it is one of the few, true must-watch football games every year. Like Michigan-Ohio State. The two squads really get after each other. So the playbooks are skinny and the fullback dives harken to a different age. I love it. If Pitt ever drops big-time football, I'd adopt Navy in a second.
