Penn St has the resources and spent the money to win 9 games per season! Their out of conference schedule has been weak for 4-5 yrs now so they have underperformed in my estimation by only winning 13 games the last 2 seasons. No need to spend the kind of $$$$ Penn St has to end up where they are. I know there is a cache of excuses but the results are what they are!

I'll explain to you slowly so you can understand.... Not too long ago, Frankie was whining about all the negative recruiting tactics being used against PSU. But apparently, he engages in the same tactics as everyone else when it comes to recruiting. This article proves it. Thus he is a Whiny hypocrite...

Yes but Franklin started complaining about it and made a point in a trib recruiting article that it did hurt recruiting. Narduzzi is very good at it. He has plenty of experience vs Michigan. Recruiting against Hoke was a layup. Now Franklin is in the crosshairs of Meyer, Harbaugh and Narduzzi. Next year Ash and Durkin will be putting out more negative information as well. Franklin made his bed, now he has to sleep in it.

That's just it. Franklin is too dumb to keep his mouth shut. He was completely exposed as a bad game day coach this year. He had players, recruits, and coaches leaving. He remained quiet throughout December and I thought he may have learned his lesson. He didn't. He started yapping again in January. He complained, as has been mentioned, about negative recruiting, yet everyone (including him) does it.

He needs to shut up and stop making excuses. He has a major flaw...he's not a good coach. He is using excuses in other parts of the head coaching job description where he is suppsed to be strong (recruiting); they are not going to accepted very long if he keeps pumping out 7/8 wins per year, with none against good teams. Every other coach can point the fact that he's not a good coach. He can't hide that.

Seriously you know this isnt apples and oranges. ALL of those recruits were PSU for a long time. They liked PSU and their families did. I could be coaches PSU and they would have went to school there.

The idea that UM may go to Florida for Spring break / practice is genius. It may not happen.....and it likely could only work for a handful of non-SEC schools.

But UM AND PSU are two schools capable of pulling this off....and Harbaugh....the guy that Franklin wants to ridicule......may be end up practicing at IMG in Bradenton. The guy saw an opening and seized it while milk dud was on the phone talking to Temple recruits

It is for this reason (among many others) that PSU is looking uphill for as long as Harbaugh stays in Ann Arbor.

I'm glad you Pitt fans never said anything negative when Mathews verbaled to PSU.You guys said he's too slow,he's too tall,he won't hit ,you Pitt fans said this I didn't. Yes, Howie, Franklin did recruit some nice players. But they were recruited a long time ago. Beginning with the Temple loss, his recruiting ground to a halt. For the past 5 months of recruiting, he had 7 decommitments, came close to losses a few others, and added no one of note.

Meanwhile, down the stretch, while Franklin was desperately trying not to lose more guys, Narduzzi was lighting it up. He closed really well, flipping a few Rutgers commits, guys Franklin wanted too. And he got 4 good DTs, two 4-star guys in the last 10 days. This was a position of need for both of our schools, and PSU tried to get all four, and got none.

The two classes were both good, and fairly equal. But Narduzzi is absolutely on an upswing, and going into year 2, having had time to build relationships, things are looking very good. We'll see if Franklin can recover.

What part are you skeptical about? Are you insinuating that Dwumfour is outright lying? Or are insinuating he "planted" the tweet from the PSU fan? God, you people are such nincompoops. Franklin may huff and puff and make excuses of every kind for the lack of improvement in his program, but please stop pretending your HC doesn't play the game like every other coach out there. It makes PSU fans look pathetic.
