Not really. This was a horrendous year for the Coastal. I think all the other coaches have resigned or retired in disgrace.
Thought after Mack eligible they were 6-6 minor bowl. Of course they didn’t dissapoint They are what they are or it is what it is or whatever.
And you remember the game which started the run? Season on the line? Watson benches Pickett and goes wildcat for the game winning drive against Syracuse.
I think this speaks volumes on what transpired these last 3 games. Why Watson didn't automatically go wildcat when Pitt was inside the 10 yard line today is baffling. Geezer probably forgot all about the Syracuse game ending.

As does the fact that #4 team in the Coastal destroyed the Coastal champ in embarassing fashion before themselves getting humiliated by the 4th place team n the weak division of the B10.

Yes. This was always only a .500 team. They just took an interesting route to finish at the Mendoza line.
UNC, ND, Stanford gamed suggest we should have been 10-4. I maybe in the minority but I still feel the PSU and UFC games were winnable but Pitt beat Pitt more than their opponents those days.
That’s easy to say though. You can also say they should’ve lost the Syracuse game and finished 6-6.
PSU game, you are spot on. UCF...i disagree. Pitt certainly did themselves no favors with some the play at ucf, but ucf outclassed pitt.
When you win the division DESPITE your QB, you've got problems. Imagine what we could have done with an actual passing game to compliment our running game.
