As I said 2 weeks ago, its a WR problem, not a QB problem/

WR's are not good
TE's are not good (slightly better than the WR's)
QB's are not good (slightly better than the WR's)
RB's and OL are not good in pass protection (as bad as the WR's)

Safe to say the offensive coordinator is not good based on his past results elsewhere, but who knows.

The sad part about the passing game is the QB's might be the best part of it.[/QUOTE

Recruiting has been mediocre at best since Wanny left. It doesn't appear to be trending in the right direction currently, and the city's apathy towards Pitt football is no longer just a local secret.
And all those Wanny's recruits that everyone seems to think we're so special couldn't win a league championship in the weakest BCS football league ever assembled.

On that note, what was Wanny's record through his first three years again? And the cupboard he inherited was not bare, by any means.

When you have 2 QB's w/ zero pocket presence and freak out as soon as they catch the sight of a DE in their periphery... you're not going to have a productive passing attack. Period.

There hasn't been much of a pocket to have any presence in. The protection has been a joke. That said, I hear you. Browne has no feel for what's going on around him, DiNucci isn't comfortable standing in the pocket. There's no help for Browne. But the playcalling could be adjusted to help Nooch. He's most comfortable rolling outside the tackle box. We need to work in more designed rollouts and RPO plays for him.

Absolutely right.

Add running backs that act like L Bell (just without the god given burst) and are tentative hitting the hole, and you have real offensive problems.

I like AJ Davis, because he is a downhill guy, just take the ball and goes forward

Wanny came in and had Palko. He had LSR and rashad Jennings, on offense, ad a very good college receiver in Greg Lee.

He had a bunch of future NFL players on defense as well.

Wanny came into a very good situation and laid an egg. He wasted the best qb pitt has had in years, and frankly should have been fired after year three.
