I think ND has a bit of an advantage in this new NIL world. Yeah, they have the money, but most of their vaunted, traditional opponents and ACC "partners" aren't exactly kicking butt with the NIL.

ND does have higher academic standards. You dont have to have the academic resume of regular students to get in as a football player but you cant be a minimum qualifier like everyone else. So, basically, you have to at least be an average student.

Remember on TV broadcasts and they would do player intro's and say what their major was? I think the whole concept of student-athlete is almost gone from the vernacular.
