That their academic standards kept them back from competing for a Natty. I was rooting for them because of their opponent but won’t root for them against any one else but I will admit that they are less unlikeabke that Kelly has left and Freeman seems like a class act but he did run up the score against Pitt in 2023. I wonder who they will poach for the Qb for the 2O25 season?

ND does have higher academic standards. You dont have to have the academic resume of regular students to get in as a football player but you cant be a minimum qualifier like everyone else. So, basically, you have to at least be an average student.

Remember on TV broadcasts and they would do player intro's and say what their major was? I think the whole concept of student-athlete is almost gone from the vernacular.
