He came back in and played after that. So hopefully it was just something that hurt for a bit and he isn’t injured.

Reminded me of some dude we used to play with who would either "dislocate his shoulder" just about every game or at least claim to. Not sure what the science behind it was, but he would say it would pop out of the socket and usually later claim that it had popped back in and resume playing.

My next door neighbor, a hockey player, had that happen to him when we would play hoops. You thought he was shot with a rifle when it popped out. No. He'd somehow get it back in the socket and then would be good as normal. It happens.
