Had a great road trip with my son: Rock and Roll HOF, Cubs-Cards game, golf at U of Iowa course and the main event, the game.

1) great road trip and gameday atmosphere. Tons of tailgating that started EARLY
2)Stadium atmosphere was great. Coordinated sections with black/gold was a nice touch. We could do that easily. Since we fill half the stadium, we could leave every odd section with gold seats and have everyone wear dark blue and put them in the even sections. That would alternate blue/gold.
3)Finkbine golf course was a wonderful course. Would definitely play it again. Not sure I will ever be to Iowa City again though unless Pitt renews a home and home with them.
4)pregame with Iowa walking out with a former player using a walker was very moving
5)All Iowa fans were very nice
6)All Iowa fans were into the game and cheered, loudly.
7)I will say this, Heinz Field is not the problem-Pitt fans are the problem. Bleachers suck, give me a seatback any day. I am not sure we will ever have the passion that other teams have-just my observation. From ages 1-100, they all stand up and cheer. Not once did I hear a "down in front"
Looking forward to the next roadtrip.
