1) Chris Jones put Pitt on his back in the first half. Simply a huge effort. Way to go Chris.
2) Jim Boeheim had no choice to guard Chris Jones in the second half. That opened up Jamel Artis and Mike Young.
3) Trevor Cooney struggled with a bad back. When he is not making threes Cuse is beatable.
4) Pitt must win its two remaining home games and it least one on the road.
5) A sweep of the last four will put Pitt in the tourney. Three of four might do it.
6) Jamie Dixon and the Panthers have managed to make the final two weeks interesting.
7) Jamie Dixon is now 12-6 against Syracuse and 6-2 in the Carrier Dome. Might have been a game better if Cuse had not made the half court shot at the Pete a couple of years ago.
