Game experience can't be underestimated, it is essential in creating a Team for next year. Hate do it by just Injuries and wish Pitt Leads on Offense would have held up so Back-Up QBs could play but that is a wish not a Fact. Now comes the end of season and looks like Pitt will be starting some more Back-Ups due to Injuries. Duke and Cuse are not easy wins, they could be, but until Pitt does it, looks like Toss Ups Win at best. Pitt will be playing new Players next year early.
Excerpt:

..............Personalities such as offensive tackle Adam Bisnowaty, tight end Scott Orndoff and defensive end Ejuan Price — among 11 seniors in the starting lineup — directed their younger teammates' focus where it belonged. Now, with injuries continuing to create havoc on a roster that slowly is acquiring depth (but still needs more), underclassmen will play a big part in the final two regular-season games. Just like they did in the 43-42 upset of then-No. 2 Clemson on Saturday.................
Those two are among several younger backups who must step into voids in the lineup. They include:

• Junior defensive end Allen Edwards, who was third choice at that spot during training camp but already with a sack after Dewayne Hendrix and Rori Blair got hurt.

• Taleni, a junior from Kaneohe, Hawaii, who didn't play in the first six games but read Clemson's key fourth-down snap like an experienced video watcher.

• Brightwell, whose quick thinking just before his 70-yard interception return triggered the rally.

• Freshman cornerbacks Damar Hamlin and Dane Jackson and sophomore safety Dennis Briggs, now key cogs in a secondary that must play the next two games without third-team All-ACC safety Jordan Whitehead (arm).
