Oregon State: The school has offered its athletic director position to Pitt AD Scott Barnes, according to The Oregonian’s John Canzano, who says the sides are in negotiations. Last week, Barnes denied a report that he had accepted the Oregon State job.

If I'm Gallagher, if he's negotiating, I'd demand a full buyout....UNLESS it really is for family reasons, in which case I'd play nice. Less than 2 years....not good.

I have more respect for Pitt's hoops program than Ph, but there is a lot of truth in what in this.

A lot of football recruits have been taken to the Pete as part of their visit, and the environment left a positive impact on them. It benefits everyone if football and basketball are doing well.
