sorry to start another one up, I do have a point to make and that thread went berserk, which I partook in, but wanted to make one quick point about this.. I am not feeling it. He is trying to address the schedule, which is great, and we can and have argued about who should and should not be on it, which we don't need to get back into. but I don't understand why he is doing this..
We have the "play a tougher schedule" crowd and "play a weaker schedule" crowd but the games I think we can all agree on, the cincy series, the marshall series, well these are the ones he is addressing and these are the ones that we seem to all be in agreement on.. I mean it's the FCS games that some of us are complaining about (Me especially) and the other crowd is saying play less P5 games.. Do you get what I am saying? He is basically changing the one thing we are cool with..
We need to see the end result here before we can call this a bad or good move.. We just seem to be looking down our noses at programs outside of the P5, which truth be told, have done the same if not more than us on the Field. I mean we are saying that we are to good to play Cincy at cincy, or at UConn, or at Marshall.. Seems kind of an odd stance to take..
