Interesting that A.D. Barnes has a background in basketball. Played professionally in Europe. Maybe this will make it more likely for him to bring about changes in the BB program...

I sure hope so. Don't mean to be a basher, but something needs to change. Whether it be coaches, culture, whatever. We are missing on high end recruits, and mid level recruits. We are missing to big time schools, and not so big time. The quality of Pitt BB has gone down as of late. Again not sure whether it is because our coaches can't recruit, whether it is because we lost market share in NYC and Phila when we went to ACC, or our style of play. Whatever......I am hoping this AD can bring a fresh look to the program and make whatever adjustments are needed to start making this program more relevant.
