So, from what I hear, there's just a bunch of single tickets available. When I go to buy tickets off of ticketmaster for a concert, it won't let you leave single seats open. How hard would it be to implement something like that?

Same here, I'm in 129. I think the seats are more elevated there, should be OK. Id be more concerned if I was behind home plate as the front row seats are lower.
