Now Pitt up 6 - 3, still in bottom 4th.

Knocked UNC starter Zach Gallen out of game after 3 2/3 innings and 8 earned runs. Coming into today's game, he had a team-leading ERA of 1.12. Gallen had 2 balks and 2 hit batters in the game.

Kowalczyk is up to bat with 2 on and 2 outs. New UNC pitcher in.

Kowalczyk doubles and brings in 2 runs. Pitt bats very much alive today, with 7 hits (2 HRs, 1 Double) .

Gave up 2 in top of 5th... Up 8 - 5 after 5.

TJ Zeuch only went 4 innings. The 2 UNC runs in the fifth were earned against Mitchell.

Radar shows it's getting close... Our relief pitching is struggling a bit. Let's hope the rain gets the SAVE here today, and preserves the win for TJ.
