Pitcher for unc isn't your typical Sunday pitcher. Top 100 draft prospect with a real nasty curve ball. Pitts having trouble making solid contact

Unfortunately I've gotta go soon but this is one of those cold weather early season matchups where the hitters can't make any contact. Berube looks good. 3 quarter delivery w plenty of movement

For those of you not in Pgh its pretty cold and overcast today. And the temps at this field are always colder than normal BC of the wind. Winds playing havoc w fly balls today

Pitt 8-9 overall and 3-3 in the ACC .......

Very good start in the ACC for Pitt ...... played 2 of the better teams .... Virginia and North Carolina .... and we showed we can play with them !!!!!!!!!

Just to set the scene for those of you out of town, there was still a snowpile at the stadium, large enough that I saw a kid making snowballs. Not exactly baseball weather but it's always good to take 2 of 3 against a top team!
