Game 3 of the 3 game weekend series .... Clemson won the 1st two games.

Two excellent catches by Pitt in the top of the 1st (Roche in RF and doubled the runner off 1st and Vazquez in LF to end the Clemson half of the inning)..... Roche made a sliding one hand catch and Vazquez a nice diving catch.

Pitt strands two runners in the 1st .....

2 out single by Roche followed by a walk to Yarnall but Hess pops out to 1st in foul territory to end the inning.

on a ball 6 inches outside ..... but he walked anyhow to force a run in .... 3-1 Pitt with the bases still loaded and 2 outs ... Frabasilio batting .... Clemson brings in a relief pitcher.

Johnson up who started the inning ... Pitt bats around.

Johnson singles to center .... 2 more runs in .... 6-1 Pitt leads .....

Johnson has two hits in the 5th inning !!!!!!
