Once again, why settlements are the best way to go when it comes time to part ways. Some thng Baylor has learned from good Legal Experts learning from the Penn State Football Scandal. Briles will learn from it too, and will back in Coaching by settling too. Jay Paterno should send a Resume to Briles so he prove his own worth at coaching again, then a Lawsuit. Briles will be open to Assistant's that have been dismissed, bought out, and can begin again showing they have the muster to coach Players to win!
EXCERPT:
In a joint statement, both parties acknowledged "serious shortcomings in the response to reports of sexual violence" Baylor and Art Briles ended their business relationship last Friday when it was reported that the parties agreed to a settlement. That split is now official......Both parties acknowledge that there were serious shortcomings in the response to reports of sexual violence by some student-athletes, including deficiencies in University processes and the delegation of disciplinary responsibilities with the football program. Baylor is addressing these shortcomings and making ongoing improvements. Baylor wishes Coach Briles well in his future endeavors. Coach Briles expresses his thanks to the City of Waco and wishes the Baylor Bears success in the future. It was largely reported Briles had about eight years and $40 million left on his contract. The terms of the settlement were not released, and Baylor stated that it will neither grant interviews nor make additional comments about the settlement.......Briefly, some members of Baylor's higher-ups reportedly pushed to put Briles on a one-year suspension, but that never came to fruition.

Briles for Pitt OC. Canada, don't let the door hit you on the way out.

Now that guy knows how to run an offense. Wonder where he'll land. My guess is either a head job at a smaller program, or a OC at a major power. I'd think he would prefer the head gig.

And yes, he;s a scumbag, but as we all know and have seen over and over again, that's not a career impediment at the highest levels of college athletics.

Unless he goes NFL Pro Head Coach or OC, I suspect he has to sit out a year or two like CoachRod did until UA Job came up? CoachRod did not repeat the mistakes that he made at WVU and Michigan on NCAA Practice 17 Hour Violations.

Louisville has a change in Presidents, Missouri too! Even WVU may look at Briles if Holgrosen does not make it pass this year? But again after this season or next.

As for Canada I am hearing he is not going to use the Tight End Orndoff that much so far into Creative Game Plans?
